Licensed by Viz
Length: 20 Volumes (complete)

Topic: Shoujo, Supernatural

Summary:
Setsuna Mudou loves his sister, Sara Mudou. He also happens to be the reincarnation of the organic angel Alexiel, an existence greater than the angels of Heaven and the demons of Hell. Unfortunately for him, Alexiel's twin brother, Rociel, has set into motion plans to awaken the spirit laying dormant in Setsuna's body. And if that wasn't enough, the fruits of those plans act as a catalyst for conspiracies reaching all the way to God himself. Join Setsuna and a wide cast of angels, demons, monsters, and creatures of all shapes and sizes on a journey through the spiritual realm in his quest to realize his true love, righting the wrongs of the universe along the way.

Comments:
This is a hard read. You won't be able to really appreciate it just skimming along and looking at the pictures, and it may take more than one read-through to really get all the details. The characters all have complex motivations and personalities, and the story in general is rife with mythological references (though not true to their religious origins). But if you do get through it, it's an incredibly rewarding manga, with one of the best stories I've had the pleasure of reading, some of the most compelling characters, gorgeous art (especially in the later volumes), and a solid ending to wrap things up.
